FIFA delegation to be present for GFA’s elective congress on October 5

World football governing body, FIFA has appointed a delegation for the 2023 Elective Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to be held next month.

The FIFA Delegation as announced by the Ghana FA is made up of Gelson Fernandes, Director, FIFA Member Associations Africa, Silmara Sousa, Development Program Coordinator, FIFA Member Associations Africa and Ahmed Harraz, Senior MA Governance Services Manager, FIFA MA Governance.

In a release from the association on Friday, September 29, it said, the FIFA Delegation which has been providing assistance to the GFA Elections Committee will have final engagements with the GFA Elections Committee while in Ghana before the Congress.

Meanwhile, FIFA Executive Council Member Amaju Melvin Pinnick will also be arriving in Ghana in the coming week as Ghana Football prepares for its elective Congress in the Northern Regional capital of Tamale.

The elective congress of the Ghana FA is scheduled to be held in Tamale on October 5.
